BEGODE Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of www.begode.com (the “Site”) and your purchase of products and services from DONGGUAN BEGODE INTELLIGENT TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD (“BEGODE,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By visiting the Site, creating an account, placing an order, or using a Site-related service, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms together with the policies and product-specific terms referenced below.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use the Site or place an order.

Important Terms at a Glance

  1. Orders: Placing an order is an offer to purchase. An order is accepted only after BEGODE confirms acceptance and successfully processes the required payment.
  2. Prices and charges: Product prices, shipping, taxes, duties, discounts, and other charges are determined by the product page, checkout, order confirmation, and applicable BEGODE policies.
  3. Customer-requested cancellations: Cancellation and refund requests are governed by the BEGODE Cancellation, Return & Refund Policy. Non-refundable payment processing costs and actual logistics costs may be deducted.
  4. BEGODE cancellations: If BEGODE cancels a paid order because of stock unavailability, a pricing error, inability to deliver, or inability to fulfill the order, BEGODE will refund the full amount paid to the original payment method without deducting the original payment processing cost.
  5. Pre-orders and deposits: Regular pre-orders and special deposit orders are subject to the terms displayed on the product page and the BEGODE Cancellation, Return & Refund Policy.
  6. Product performance: Speed, range, charging time, climbing capability, load performance, and other results vary according to the rider, battery, temperature, terrain, settings, maintenance, and test conditions.
  7. Safety: BEGODE products can involve serious risks. Customers and riders must read the applicable manuals, use appropriate protective equipment, follow local rules, and stop using a product when a safety warning or abnormal condition appears.
  8. Warranty and after-sales service: Warranty, transportation, cancellation, return, refund, and privacy matters are governed by the corresponding BEGODE policies.

The detailed provisions below explain these terms.

1. Acceptance and Scope

These Terms apply to the Site, customer accounts, online purchases, customer support, and other services provided through or in connection with www.begode.com.

The following policies form part of these Terms:

If a product page or promotion contains specific terms for that product or promotion, those specific terms apply together with these Terms.

These Terms apply only to purchases made directly through www.begode.com. Purchases from a dealer, distributor, marketplace, or another seller are governed by the terms and policies of the original seller.

2. Customers, Minors, Accounts, and Information

Customers and Minors

BEGODE does not impose one universal purchasing age for every country or region. Customers must, however, have the legal ability to enter into the relevant transaction in their location.

A customer who has not reached the local age of legal majority must obtain the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian when purchasing through the Site.

Minors must use BEGODE products only under appropriate adult supervision. A parent or legal guardian is responsible for assessing whether a product is appropriate for a minor and for supervising the minor’s use of the product.

Accounts and Customer Information

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete account, billing, payment, shipping, and contact information.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your email account, customer account, verification codes, devices, and other account-access information.

You must notify BEGODE promptly if you believe that an account or order has been accessed or used without authorization.

Commercial Purchases and Resale

BEGODE does not prohibit purchases intended for resale, commercial use, or export. However, such purchases do not automatically create a distributor, dealer, agent, franchise, partnership, or exclusive-sales relationship with BEGODE.

The purchaser is responsible for complying with applicable import, export, resale, product registration, labeling, tax, customs, consumer, and other requirements in the destination market.

Any authorized dealer or distributor status requires a separate written agreement signed by BEGODE.

3. Products, Specifications, and Compatibility

Product Information

BEGODE attempts to provide accurate product descriptions, images, specifications, prices, and availability information. Product appearance, color, packaging, included items, labels, and minor production details may vary because of screens, lighting, product updates, production batches, and regional configurations.

BEGODE may update a product, specification, component, packaging, or description where reasonably necessary. A material change affecting an accepted order will be handled according to the order circumstances and applicable policies.

Performance Information

Published speed, range, charging time, climbing capability, load capacity, power, and similar performance information may be manufacturer-stated, laboratory-tested, estimated, or measured under specific conditions.

Actual results may vary because of factors including:

  • Rider weight, riding position, skill, and riding behavior.
  • Speed, acceleration, braking, and riding mode.
  • Battery condition, charge level, age, voltage, and temperature.
  • Terrain, gradient, road surface, wind, altitude, and weather.
  • Tire pressure, suspension settings, maintenance, and product configuration.
  • Firmware, software, accessories, and test methodology.

Product performance information is not a guarantee that every customer will achieve the same result.

Compatibility

Parts, batteries, controllers, motherboards, motors, chargers, cables, connectors, firmware, and accessories may differ according to product model, voltage, hardware version, connector, production batch, and destination market.

Customers must review the product information and confirm compatibility before purchase, installation, charging, firmware updating, or repair.

If compatibility is uncertain, contact BEGODE support and provide the product model, voltage, version, serial number, production batch, motor code, connector information, and relevant photos before placing or installing the order.

A product title, image, historical model name, GotWay name, or visual similarity alone must not be treated as confirmation of compatibility.

4. Orders, Prices, and Payment

Order Acceptance

Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. Receipt of an order confirmation or payment authorization does not necessarily mean that the order has been accepted for fulfillment.

BEGODE may review orders for payment status, product availability, shipping eligibility, address accuracy, fraud risk, export restrictions, pricing errors, and other operational requirements.

BEGODE may decline or cancel an order before fulfillment if the order cannot reasonably be accepted or completed.

BEGODE-Initiated Cancellation

If BEGODE cancels a paid order because of stock unavailability, a material pricing error, inability to deliver, or inability to fulfill the order, BEGODE will issue a full refund to the original payment method.

In this situation, BEGODE will not deduct the original payment processing cost from the customer’s refund.

Suspected fraud, unauthorized payment, sanctions, payment disputes, chargebacks, or invalid order information may be handled through the relevant payment provider’s review and reversal procedures.

Prices, Taxes, Shipping, and Duties

Prices, discounts, promotions, shipping costs, taxes, duties, customs charges, and other costs are subject to the information displayed on the applicable product page, checkout, order confirmation, Shipping Policy, and promotion terms.

Some products or destinations may include shipping or certain taxes, while other products or destinations may require additional charges.

Where an additional payment is required because of a customer-requested shipping method, destination, customs requirement, or product configuration, BEGODE will provide the relevant information before collecting the additional payment.

Pricing and Listing Errors

BEGODE may correct typographical, pricing, specification, availability, shipping, promotion, or other material errors.

If a material error affects an order, BEGODE may contact the customer for confirmation or cancel the affected order and provide the applicable refund.

5. Pre-Orders, Deposits, Cancellations, and Refunds

Regular Pre-Orders

A product marked “Pre-Order” is available for purchase before current inventory is ready for normal fulfillment. Estimated availability or shipping information is an estimate and may change because of production, testing, component supply, transport, customs, or other operational factors.

Regular pre-order cancellation and refund requests are governed by the product page and the BEGODE Cancellation, Return & Refund Policy.

Special Deposit Orders

A special deposit order is governed by the deposit terms displayed on the applicable product page. A deposit marked as non-refundable cannot be cancelled or refunded except where BEGODE provides written approval.

Customer-Requested Cancellations

A customer-requested cancellation is not completed until BEGODE confirms it in writing.

Approved customer-requested cancellations and refunds may be subject to the original non-refundable payment processing cost, generally approximately 4%–5%, based on the individual transaction settlement record.

Orders cancelled after shipment may also be subject to actual outbound shipping, interception, return shipping, protection-plan, and related logistics costs.

Complete cancellation, return, inspection, eligibility, and refund rules are stated in the BEGODE Cancellation, Return & Refund Policy .

6. Shipping, Delivery, and Receipt

Shipping routes, estimated delivery times, warehouse locations, taxes, supported destinations, weight limits, split shipments, and other transportation conditions are described in the BEGODE Shipping Policy.

Delivery dates are estimates rather than guarantees. Production, carrier capacity, dangerous goods requirements, weather, customs, inspections, holidays, destination conditions, and events outside BEGODE’s reasonable control may cause delays.

Transferring a shipment to a carrier does not by itself eliminate all BEGODE responsibilities. Transportation damage, missing packages, incorrect delivery, shipment interception, and related matters will be reviewed according to the shipping evidence, responsibility, applicable protection coverage, and BEGODE policies.

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address, monitoring tracking information, arranging safe receipt, and promptly reporting delivery problems.

Customers should inspect the shipment and preserve the packaging, shipping label, photos, videos, and supporting evidence. Transportation damage must be reported within the period stated in the BEGODE Cancellation, Return & Refund Policy.

7. Product Safety and Responsible Use

Important Safety Notice

Electric unicycles, electric motorcycles, e-bikes, batteries, chargers, and high-power electrical systems can involve risks of falls, collision, fire, electric shock, serious injury, death, and property damage.

Purchasing a BEGODE product does not mean that the product is lawful or appropriate for every rider, road, trail, country, or region.

Customer and Rider Responsibilities

Before and during use, the customer and rider must:

  • Read and follow the applicable user manual, warnings, labels, and official instructions.
  • Wear an appropriate helmet and other protective equipment suitable for the product and activity.
  • Develop riding skill progressively and operate within personal ability and safe conditions.
  • Comply with local age, road-use, speed, registration, licensing, insurance, and safety requirements.
  • Use appropriate adult supervision when a minor uses a product.
  • Inspect the tire, pedals, fasteners, battery, charger, cables, controls, suspension, and structure before use.
  • Stop using the product after a collision, water exposure, unusual heat, smoke, odor, swelling, damage, warning, or abnormal behavior.
  • Use only compatible voltages, connectors, chargers, batteries, components, firmware, and settings.
  • Charge, store, and transport batteries according to official safety instructions.
  • Keep charging products away from flammable materials and do not leave unsafe charging conditions unattended.

The customer and rider must not:

  • Ride while impaired by alcohol, drugs, fatigue, illness, or another unsafe condition.
  • Use the product in a prohibited location or unlawful manner.
  • Ignore alarms, warnings, error codes, reduced battery conditions, or abnormal behavior.
  • Exceed applicable product, rider, environmental, or charging limits.
  • Use damaged, incompatible, counterfeit, or unapproved safety-critical components.
  • Open or repair a high-voltage battery or perform a critical firmware recovery without appropriate authorization and technical capability.
  • Make an unauthorized modification that creates an unreasonable safety risk.

Unauthorized or Improper Use

BEGODE is not responsible for loss resulting from customer misuse, unlawful riding, improper charging, incorrect installation, incompatible parts, unauthorized modification, ignored warnings, inadequate maintenance, or failure to follow official instructions, to the extent that the loss was caused by that conduct.

8. Warranty, After-Sales Service, and Liability

Warranty

Eligible products are covered according to the current BEGODE Warranty Policy.

Warranty coverage, periods, exclusions, replacement parts, labor costs, logistics costs, and service procedures are determined by that policy and any product-specific written warranty terms.

Products purchased from another seller must normally receive order-related warranty and after-sales service through the original seller.

After-Sales Verification

BEGODE may require an order number, product model, voltage, hardware version, serial number, production batch, motor code, error code, fault description, photos, videos, or inspection results before confirming compatibility, warranty eligibility, responsibility, or an appropriate solution.

Customers must not interpret troubleshooting guidance, suggested parts, or product links as a guarantee that purchasing or installing a part will resolve every fault.

Website and Service Availability

BEGODE does not guarantee that the Site, customer account, chat, third-party tool, content, or online service will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or available.

This website-service disclaimer does not cancel the express product warranty published by BEGODE.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted under these Terms, BEGODE will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential loss, including lost profit, lost revenue, lost business, loss of opportunity, or loss of data.

BEGODE’s total liability arising from an affected order or product will generally not exceed the amount the customer actually paid to BEGODE for the relevant product.

This limitation does not apply to liability resulting from BEGODE’s intentional misconduct or to responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

9. Intellectual Property, Reviews, and Customer Materials

BEGODE Intellectual Property

The Site and its text, graphics, logos, product names, trademarks, photographs, videos, layout, software, downloads, and other content are owned by or licensed to BEGODE and are protected by applicable intellectual property rules.

Customers may use the Site for lawful personal or commercial purchasing purposes. No content may be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed, republished, or used to falsely represent an association with BEGODE without written permission.

Purchase of a product does not transfer ownership of BEGODE trademarks, product designs, software, firmware, website content, or other intellectual property.

Reviews and Feedback

Customers are responsible for ensuring that reviews and feedback are truthful, lawful, and do not infringe another person’s rights.

Text reviews voluntarily submitted for public display may be displayed, formatted, translated, or reasonably excerpted by BEGODE in connection with the Site and the reviewed product.

BEGODE will not automatically use customer support photos, support videos, repair evidence, or private case materials for advertising, social media, or commercial promotion.

If BEGODE wants to use a customer’s photo, video, likeness, or private support material for marketing, BEGODE will obtain separate authorization from the customer.

BEGODE may use private support materials for customer service, engineering analysis, product safety, compatibility verification, warranty processing, quality improvement, and dispute handling.

10. Shopify, Third-Party Services, and External Links

Relationship With Shopify

The Site is powered by Shopify, which provides the ecommerce platform used to offer the Site and related services.

Sales and purchases made through the Site are transactions directly between the customer and BEGODE. Shopify is not the seller of BEGODE products and is not responsible for the manufacture, safety, delivery, warranty, or performance of BEGODE products.

Privacy

Personal information is handled according to the BEGODE Privacy Policy. Shopify and other service providers may also process information according to their own privacy terms.

Third-Party Services

The Site may contain or connect to third-party payment services, protection plans, customer service tools, social networks, videos, maps, apps, analytics services, advertising services, or other external tools.

Third-party services are subject to the provider’s own terms, eligibility requirements, coverage, pricing, and privacy practices.

BEGODE is not responsible for an independently operated third-party service except to the extent BEGODE has expressly accepted a responsibility in writing.

External Links

Links to external websites are provided for convenience or information. Customers should review the terms, policies, security, and authenticity of a third-party website before providing information or completing a transaction.

11. Prohibited Uses, Suspension, and Changes

Prohibited Uses

You must not use the Site or its services to:

  • Break a law or assist unlawful activity.
  • Commit fraud, submit false information, or use an unauthorized payment method.
  • Infringe BEGODE’s or another party’s intellectual property or privacy rights.
  • Upload malware or interfere with the Site’s security or operation.
  • Scrape, overload, reverse engineer, or access restricted systems without authorization.
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent an affiliation with BEGODE.
  • Harass, threaten, abuse, or unlawfully harm BEGODE staff, service providers, or other users.
  • Use support or ordering systems for spam, malicious activity, or repeated fraudulent claims.

Suspension or Termination

BEGODE may restrict or suspend access to an account or Site feature where reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, protect security, prevent abuse, comply with a valid requirement, or address a material breach of these Terms.

Suspension of Site access does not cancel outstanding payment obligations, accepted orders, warranty records, intellectual property rights, dispute provisions, or other provisions that reasonably continue after suspension.

Changes to the Site and Terms

BEGODE may update the Site, services, features, products, policies, and these Terms.

The latest version will be published on this page with an updated revision date. Material changes will apply from the stated effective date and will not retroactively change a completed order unless the customer agrees or the change is required for security, safety, or another valid reason.

12. General Terms, Governing Law, and Contact

Entire Agreement

These Terms, the policies incorporated by reference, the applicable product page, the checkout, and the order confirmation constitute the agreement relating to the relevant Site transaction.

Severability

If one provision is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be adjusted or separated only to the extent necessary. The remaining provisions will continue to apply.

No Waiver

A failure or delay by BEGODE to enforce a provision does not permanently waive that provision or any other right.

Assignment

A customer may not transfer an account, order, claim, or obligation under these Terms without BEGODE’s written approval. BEGODE may transfer its rights and obligations as part of a lawful restructuring, financing, merger, or transfer of the relevant business.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and transactions governed by them are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China.

Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms, the Site, or a transaction with BEGODE will be submitted to a competent People’s Court located in Dongguan, Guangdong, where DONGGUAN BEGODE INTELLIGENT TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD is located.

Before starting formal proceedings, the customer and BEGODE should first attempt to resolve the matter through direct communication where reasonably possible.
